UPPC is the leading manufacturer of high quality and cost efficient industrial grade paper. UPPC was incorporated in December 1969 and started its commercial operations in August 1975. In 1995, the company entered into a joint venture with Siam Pulp & Paper Ltd. (SPPC), with SPPC investing 40% ownership of the Company. At the center of this joint venture is the Paper Machine No. 2, which had a successful start up in 1998. UPPC's product lines include the Extensible Sack Kraft paper, which is used in making industrial paper bags, and its major product line, the corrugating medium paper and liner board, which are used in carton packaging products. |
